Democrat Governor Attacks Hulk Hogan

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has voiced her support for the Iron Sheik following Hulk Hogan’s endorsement of Donald Trump for President at the 2024 Republican National Convention. Hogan referred to Trump as his “hero” and supported the former President’s bid, calling him a “real American.”

When asked about Hogan’s endorsement during a recent appearance in Lansing, Michigan, Whitmer remarked, “This was the question I was hoping not to get asked tonight.” She then expressed her admiration for the Iron Sheik, although she was referring to the original Sheik, Ed Farhat, who was from Lansing. The Iron Sheik, who passed away in June 2023, was originally from Iran.

In addition to Hogan’s endorsement, former WWE star Glenn Jacobs, also known as Kane and the Mayor of Knox County, TN, has supported Trump. Jacobs criticized President Biden’s fitness for office following Biden’s decision not to seek re-election. WWE Hall of Famer Linda McMahon also spoke at the RNC, preceding Hogan and Trump.

Whitmer, on the other hand, has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the upcoming election, who has also received endorsements from several prominent figures, including President Biden.
