Democrat Governor Says He Can Replace Biden

During Friday’s National Governors Association meeting, Colorado Governor Jared Polis addressed questions about the upcoming November elections and the prospects for Democrats with President Biden at the top of the ticket. When asked by reporter Gabrielle Franklin from Mediaite about the Democrats’ chances, Polis acknowledged that it was a closely contested election. He noted that currently, President Biden is behind in the polls, albeit not by a significant margin.

He suggested that evaluating campaign strategies, messaging, and even considering changes in the candidate could be necessary steps.
