Former bodyguard Roger Bonds recently shared concerning insights about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ behavior towards Cassie Ventura, alleging that Combs’ abuse towards Ventura stemmed from jealousy over her supposed relationship with Kid Cudi.
Bonds revealed on VladTV that Combs discovered Ventura’s involvement with Kid Cudi after going through her phone. This discovery reportedly infuriated Combs, leading him to attempt to confront Kid Cudi at his residence. However, Kid Cudi was not home at the time of Combs’ visit, though Ventura began distancing herself from Combs shortly after the incident.
Bonds recalled that Ventura’s distancing prompted Combs to lash out, particularly at an employee named Capricorn, who he believed had knowledge of Ventura’s relationship with Kid Cudi. According to Bonds, Combs physically assaulted Capricorn out of anger towards the situation.
“Capricorn was his personal assistant. She had to know about Kid Cudi because she never went to the studio by herself. She always went with Cassie,” Bonds explained. He further noted that Combs paid Capricorn $450,000 to settle a lawsuit after she left and sued him over the incident.
Ventura herself filed a lawsuit against Combs in 2023, accusing him of physical and emotional abuse. The lawsuit was settled out of court, but in May 2024, CNN released footage from 2016 showing Combs assaulting Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel. Following the release of the footage, Combs issued a public apology for his actions.
