Diddy’s former assistant, Suzi Siegel, has criticized the star, claiming he is surrounded by ‘yes men’ in an ‘echo chamber.’ Siegel, who worked for Diddy from 2008 to 2009, condemned his behavior after a 2016 CCTV clip surfaced, allegedly showing Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Siegel stated she was unaware of the assault until the footage was recently released.
In a TV interview, Siegel expressed skepticism about Diddy’s apology video, where he admitted hitting “rock bottom” without making excuses. She doubted the sincerity of his contrition, stating, “It was all about him. His worst day. His lowest point. I think she reached a much lower point being beat by him.”
Siegel described working in Diddy’s inner circle, noting he was surrounded by a large entourage and didn’t appreciate differing opinions, leading to poor decision-making. The unearthed footage from the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles shows Diddy allegedly attacking Cassie, matching descriptions in her lawsuit against him. The pair settled the lawsuit out of court in November 2023 after Cassie accused him of rape and perpetual abuse.
