Doctors ‘Concerned’ After Joe Biden Speech

President Joe Biden’s recent national address is raising serious concerns among many Americans and medical professionals. During the speech on Wednesday, Biden announced his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race while expressing his intent to continue serving as president.

This was Biden’s first public address since his withdrawal from the upcoming election, and it did not instill confidence in his ability to lead effectively.

Some doctors have noted potential issues based on the speech, although observing a televised address alone is not sufficient for a diagnosis. Dr. Marc Siegel shared his concerns with Fox News Digital, pointing out that Biden seemed emotionally distant and possibly experiencing depression or shock over his political situation. Siegel questioned Biden’s lack of conviction when quoting from the Declaration of Independence and expressed concern for both the president and the country.

While Biden’s speech was less problematic compared to his debate performance against former President Donald Trump—an event that notably derailed his reelection campaign—Dr. Robert Lufkin suggested that a teleprompter setup might be less demanding and less likely to reveal cognitive issues compared to a more spontaneous debate format.

Lufkin noted that Biden’s previous issues, such as stumbling or slurring during speeches, could be attributed to factors like sleep deprivation or neurological degeneration. He mentioned that the less challenging format of a teleprompter-led speech is unlikely to expose underlying cognitive problems as much as a rigorous Q&A session or debate.

Videos of Biden’s recent address, including his struggle with reading from the teleprompter, are circulating on social media. These videos show issues such as stumbling over words and difficulty with a simple Benjamin Franklin quote, raising doubts about his capability to handle the responsibilities of the presidency for the remainder of his term.
