The former president was deposed for a second time as part of a $250 million fraud case in which he is accused of falsifying the value of his properties and which seeks to ban him from doing business in New York State. The first time he was deposed in the case where he is accused of inflating prices of real estate including Mar-a-Lago and golf courses, he pleaded the Fifth 400 times. Trump’s lawyer said he was ‘eager to testify’ to clear his name of those allegations and that he has ‘nothing to conceal’.
