Billionaire and Twitter owner Elon Musk asserted on Friday that President Joe Biden is actively working to “get as many illegals in the country as possible” in an effort to establish a “one-party state.” Musk’s comments were prompted by an Associated Press report indicating that Biden intends to “prioritize legal status for millions of immigrants.”
Musk outlined his perspective on Biden’s strategy in a tweet:
“Biden’s strategy is very simple:
- Get as many illegals in the country as possible.
- Legalize them to create a permanent majority – a one-party state.
That is why they are encouraging so much illegal immigration. Simple, yet effective.”
He further provided the full text of the bill and drew a parallel to historical events, stating, “It sounds so reasonable at first, just like ‘The Committee of Public Safety’ actually meant ‘The Cutting Off Heads Committee’ in revolutionary France.”
Despite having voted for Biden in 2020, Musk went on to claim that Biden’s alleged strategy explains the low number of deportations, positing that “every deportation is a lost vote.” Musk highlighted an incident in New York where an individual allegedly assaulted police officers in broad daylight, was released without bail, and was not deported, expressing his outrage at the situation.
While deportations in 2023 nearly doubled compared to the previous year under Biden, as reported by the Washington Post, it is noteworthy that the Biden administration has deported fewer migrants year-on-year than the Trump administration. The nuanced statistics underscore the complexity of immigration policies and the diverse perspectives on the Biden administration’s approach to immigration.
This explains why there are so few deportations, as every deportation is a lost vote.
As happened this week, you can literally assault police officers in broad daylight in New York, be released with no bail, give everyone the finger and *still* not be deported!!
Outrageous. https://t.co/8ruJex9iU7
