The Fox News host also criticized the indictment, dismissing it as “legal mumbo jumbo” and likening it to an “MSNBC script.” In an attempt to defend Trump, Watters suggested that reducing the ability of the federal government from functioning is part of the Republican Party’s platform.
Another Fox News host, Greg Gutfeld, echoed the sentiment, claiming that the indictment was “criminalizing thought” and “speech,” asserting that people have the right to question the legitimacy of elections.
