Girlfriend Put Schwarzenegger In Handcuffs After Detainment

Arnold Schwarzenegger, the iconic “Terminator” star, added humor to a recent customs incident at Munich airport during an auction in Kitzbuhel, Austria. Schwarzenegger auctioned off a luxury watch that he reportedly failed to declare at the Munich airport, leading to his brief detention. The incident became the opening act for his comedy routine at the auction.

In a video obtained by TMZ, Schwarzenegger began his routine by addressing the customs incident. He joked about being handcuffed, attributing it not to the watch or customs but to “a hot night” with his girlfriend, Heather Milligan. He shared a humorous exchange with a customs officer, saying, “If you don’t behave, I’m going to put you in handcuffs.” Schwarzenegger quipped, “That’s okay. I usually pay $500 for that.”

The actor went on to praise the $100,000 Audemars Piguet watch that was up for auction, claiming customs agents searched his bag for a second timepiece. He joked about hiding it and said, “I can’t tell you where because I just cannot sit down today.” The comedy routine reportedly lasted around eight minutes, captivating the audience.

Despite the customs incident, the watch sold for an impressive $293,000 at the auction. An insider revealed that Schwarzenegger was never asked to fill out a declaration form, cooperated with customs officers, and answered questions honestly. The source described the incident as an “incompetent shakedown” and a “total comedy of errors,” suggesting it could make for a funny cop movie. Schwarzenegger was released after a three-hour conversation about pre-paying potential taxes on the watch.
