Goldberg Ruined Career Of Fired WWE Star

Gillberg is the impersonator of WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg. He had made his debut back in the 90s and gained a lot of popularity for being the parody of the WCW legend. However, Goldberg made it clear he absolutely hated the gimmick. Many years later, it seems Goldberg still has disdain for the character as he might have squashed Gillberg’s merchandise sales.

Gillberg talks about the matter

Gillberg recently claimed that Goldberg refused to have a match against him numerous times. This was quite a disappointment for many fans, who simply wanted to see the two duke it out in the past.

While speaking on the Cheap Heat Productions Podcast, Gillberg talked about his relationship with Goldberg. Gillberg then proceeded to accuse Goldberg of squashing his merchandise sales.

“I loved the Gillberg gimmick. Goldberg has, I can’t say 100 percent, but from the people I know, they say that Goldberg has a thumb on me. I can’t have a doll, I can’t have a shirt, I can’t be on a video game. I can’t do anything at all.”

Gillberg had retired back in 2020, and he suffered a heart attack that same year. However, he is in much better health. WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg recently confirmed that he will make an in-ring return pretty soon. However, there have been some speculations regarding his contract with WWE.  Rumors started to float that he inked a new deal with the company.
