WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, is facing legal trouble after a recent DUI arrest. Nick Hogan has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor DUI charges stemming from an incident on the morning of November 18th in Clearwater, FL. The pre-trial hearing for the case is scheduled for January 17th, 2024.
The arrest occurred around 4 AM when Nick Hogan was returning home from a bikini contest held at his father’s restaurant. Refusing a breathalyzer test during the arrest, he faced charges related to his conduct during a traffic stop. The arrest report noted that Nick Hogan’s 2021 Dodge Ram approached a traffic stop in the median lane, failed to change lanes despite signals, and maintained a speed of 51 mph in a 40 mph zone. Officers observed signs of impairment, including a strong odor of alcohol, swaying balance, glassy and bloodshot eyes, and poor performance on field sobriety tests.
Nick Hogan had been serving as the MC and DJ for the bikini contest event at his father’s restaurant, with Hulk Hogan joining as a judge. Despite having a good time at the event, Nick Hogan made the unfortunate decision to drive under the influence afterward.
It was mentioned that Hulk Hogan announced complimentary shots at the restaurant during the event, but it remains unclear whether Nick Hogan participated in the free alcohol offered. The incident is a setback for Nick Hogan, known for his appearances on the reality series “Hogan Knows Best” and occasional appearances on WWE programming.
