WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan’s family is once again in the spotlight, but this time for less favorable reasons. Nick Hogan, the son of Hulk Hogan, is facing attention following his recent DUI arrest, and he has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Nick Hogan officially faced misdemeanor DUI charges on December 18th. During the subsequent arraignment, he entered a plea of not guilty. A pre-trial hearing is now scheduled for January 17th, 2024, where further legal proceedings will take place.
The incident leading to Nick Hogan’s arrest unfolded in Clearwater, FL, on the morning of November 18th, around 4 AM. Nick Hogan had been returning home from a bikini contest held at his father’s restaurant. Refusing a breathalyzer test upon arrest, the arrest report detailed how Nick Hogan’s 2021 Dodge Ram approached a traffic stop in the median lane, failing to comply with signals to pull over. He was eventually pulled over by officers, displaying signs of impairment such as a strong odor of alcohol, swaying balance, glassy and bloodshot eyes, and poor performance on field sobriety tests.
During the unfortunate event, Nick Hogan’s father, WWE legend Hulk Hogan, was participating as a judge for the bikini contest while also serving as the MC and DJ. Despite the enjoyable atmosphere, Nick Hogan made the regrettable decision to drive under the influence.
Hulk Hogan had earlier announced complimentary shots at the restaurant during the event, although it remains unclear whether Nick Hogan partook in the free alcohol offered by Hogan’s Hangout. Unfortunately, this decision led to the subsequent DUI arrest.
Nick Hogan, known as the son of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, gained recognition through his appearances on the reality series “Hogan Knows Best” on VH-1 and occasional appearances on WWE programming.
