Last month, Nick Hogan, son of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, faced arrest for driving under the influence in Clearwater, Florida. The arrest occurred after Nick, suspected of DUI, refused sobriety testing upon returning from a bikini contest at his father’s restaurant, where he serves as the DJ for karaoke nights at Hogan’s Beach Shop.
Nick Hogan entered a plea of not guilty during his arraignment earlier this month for misdemeanor DUI. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for January 17th.
Former Hulk Hogan friend Bubba The Love Sponge released footage of the arrest, capturing Hulk Hogan’s arrival at the scene and interactions with the police. In the video, Hulk, using a walking stick, expressed dissatisfaction with the woman accompanying Nick and questioned how his son tolerated her. The woman underwent a sobriety test, and certain sections of the video have muted audio.
This incident is not Nick Hogan’s first brush with legal troubles. In 2007, he was involved in a car accident that left his friend, John Graziano, with brain damage. Nick Hogan was sentenced to 8 months in jail in connection with the incident.
