But it seems that one current Superstar wants to make sure that AJ Lee knew that she is noticed. AJ Lee isn’t yet booked for WWE Raw tonight, but there is hope she could return at some point.
CM Punk’s return recently sparked discussions about the future, including the possibility of AJ Mendez returning to the company as AJ Lee. This is something that a lot of fans would love to see, including Cora Jade.
It has been noted that the young generation of talent has consistently expressed their admiration for AJ Lee and her contributions to women’s wrestling in the 2010s. NXT’s Cora Jade is one of those Superstars today who was influenced by AJ Lee.
She is also a huge fan of CM Punk, so this situation could be perfect for her. She dropped a photo of herself meeting CM Punk at a meet & greet, along with a caption that said, “Mood 8 years later.”
In response to Cora Jade sharing a video of her meeting CM Punk when she was younger, Roxanne Perez retweeted and referenced something her former friend once told her. She took a shot at her history with Cora Jade in the process.
“Remember when you ended our friendship & told me if I ever posted this video you would incapacitate me.”
This is when Cora Jade replied on X to say, “@TheAJMendez handle this b****!” Only time will tell if that happens.
