Ivanka Trump is trying to evade the business fraud trial testimony in New York by coming up with new excuses. The former member of the Trump administration has tried different ways to avoid her testimony in a case against her father. She has now come up with an excuse of ‘undue hardship’ in a recent update from her attorneys.
According to CNN, Ivanka was asked by Judge Arthur Engoron to appear before the court and testify in the case against Donald Trump. The former first daughter is trying everything to avoid a confrontation with her dad as that could turn out to be bad for the former president. Ivanka understands that her testimony will have a significant impact on Donald Trump, her brothers, and the Trump Organization.
Ms. Trump, who resides in Florida with her three minor children, will suffer undue hardship if a stay is denied and she is required to testify at trial in New York in the middle of a school week, in a case she has already been dismissed from, before her appeal is heard.

Will her attempts get the desired result in the possibility of trying to bypass the law?
Ivanka knows that the path ahead of her is not simple and has plethora of things happening that will be detrimental to her father. She is using the fact that her name was not used as a co-defendant and that a subpoena wasn’t delivered to her perfectly.
Judge Engoron has already denied the motion to quash a subpoena. Ivanka Trump was named as the person who needs to testify, but there’s been no news if her name will be removed and her testimony delayed. It’s worth noting that Donald Trump’s attempts to get the trial cancelled has not been entertained, and there’s little to no possibility that anything will work in Trump and his daughter’s favour.
