Ivanka Trump recently made a striking appearance in New York City, showcasing her style in a light yellow heart cut-out dress that retails for $858 from FWRD. She shared a photo on Instagram, simply captioned with three yellow hearts, leaving her activities in New York somewhat mysterious. Prior to this, she was seen enjoying some summer fun with pardoned prisoner Alice Marie Johnson. The duo, along with their families, spent a day golfing and had dinner together, highlighting their close bond formed after Kim Kardashian’s advocacy led to Johnson’s pardon by former President Donald Trump in 2018.
Ivanka, dressed in a navy workout dress and baseball cap for golf, displayed her athletic side and shared moments of the day on social media, including a video of her golf swing. Johnson, in a teal outfit, joined Ivanka for the day’s activities. The day ended with both changing into evening wear for a dinner out, with Ivanka in a black mini dress and Johnson in skinny jeans and a blue top. They posed for a group photo with Ivanka’s children, Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore.
Johnson, who served nearly 22 years in prison for her involvement in cocaine trafficking, has since become an advocate for criminal justice reform through her non-profit, Taking Action for Good. Her efforts have led to numerous clemency and pardon applications, significantly contributing to the passage of the First Step Act in 2018. Despite Hollywood offers, Johnson remains dedicated to her advocacy work, forming a close bond with Kim Kardashian, who played a pivotal role in her release.
