She suggests that it sounds like the couple is opting for a lasting union. In response, Pinkett Smith confidently asserts, “We’re staying together forever,” acknowledging the challenges they faced during a years-long separation that ultimately didn’t lead to a permanent split.
The actress previously disclosed the 2016 separation, attributing it to both of them being entrenched in their respective fantasies of what the other person should be.
