Jada Reveals If She’s Dumping Will Smith After He…

According to Mediaite, Jada Pinkett Smith has affirmed the enduring nature of her marriage to Will Smith in a preview clip from an upcoming interview on The Drew Barrymore Show. The conversation, centered around Pinkett Smith’s memoir “Worthy,” touches upon the couple’s commitment to staying together.

Drew Barrymore, the show’s host, observes a sense of separation in the shadows of Pinkett Smith’s and Smith’s lives, as depicted in the memoir. She suggests that it sounds like the couple is opting for a lasting union. In response, Pinkett Smith confidently asserts, “We’re staying together forever,” acknowledging the challenges they faced during a years-long separation that ultimately didn’t lead to a permanent split.

The actress previously disclosed the 2016 separation, attributing it to both of them being entrenched in their respective fantasies of what the other person should be. Despite this, Pinkett Smith expresses her current happiness, emphasizing that she and Smith are on a powerful journey together. She reiterates her commitment, stating, “The truth of the matter is I’m not leaving Will’s side, and he’s not going to leave mine. We’ve been on a powerful quest. And I’m happier than I’ve ever been.”

Pinkett Smith also reveals that the incident at the 2022 Academy Awards, where Smith had an altercation with Chris Rock, marked a significant turning point in their relationship. She emphasizes her unwavering support for Smith, saying, “I might not have walked in there as his wife, but I left that night as his wife. And as I sit here today, I am going to be by his side, always.”

In addition to discussing her marriage, Pinkett Smith shares insights into her experience making “Girls Trip.” She recalls the fun they had on set, particularly highlighting Tiffany Haddish’s penchant for improvisation, which added a dynamic element to their scenes.

As the interview progresses, Barrymore inquires about the possibility of a sequel to the 2017 comedy “Girls Trip.” Pinkett Smith remains open to the idea, stating, “I mean, look, they keep talking about it, so we’ll see. It would be lovely to do.”
