Jamie Foxx Ditches Partying After Health Scare

Jamie Foxx has reportedly made a significant lifestyle change following a health scare last year, committing to leaving his “party animal” days behind him. The Oscar-winning actor, aged 56, was hospitalized in April 2023 due to an undisclosed illness while working on the film “Back in Action” in Atlanta, Georgia. Since then, Foxx has undergone a transformation, focusing on his health and well-being.

According to a source from Radar Online, Foxx has recognized the need to prioritize his health and has taken concrete steps to do so. He has revamped his lifestyle, including overhauling his diet and reassessing his social circle to distance himself from negative influences. The insider revealed that Foxx, who has a history of being a “major party animal,” has cleaned up his act and is now dedicated to staying healthy.

The source emphasized Foxx’s commitment to nourishing his body with healthy foods and adopting meditation as part of his new routine. Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, previously issued a statement last April confirming her father’s medical complication and expressing gratitude for the support and prayers from fans.

In December, Foxx publicly addressed his health ordeal for the first time during a speech at the Critics Choice Association Awards. He tearfully recounted his battle with the illness, revealing that he was unable to walk at one point. Foxx expressed gratitude for his recovery and newfound appreciation for life and his art, urging others not to give up on their passions.
