The judge in the falsified business records case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg expanded his gag order on Trump in order to include statements regarding the judge’s daughter, Loren Merchan on Monday via The Post Millennial.
The March 26 gag order was amended to include “family members of any counsel, staff member, the Court or the District attorney.”
It has been noted that Trump had slammed Judge Juan Merchan’s daughter in March after it was revealed that she had used a photo of Trump behind bars as her profile picture.
“Judge Juan Merchan, who is suffering from an acute case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (whose daughter represents Crooked Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff, and other Radical Liberals, has just posted a picture of me behind bars, her obvious goal, and makes it completely impossible for me to get a fair trial) has now issued another illegal, un-American, unConstitutional ‘order,’ as he continues to try and take away my Rights,” Trump wrote on March 27.
Journalist Julie Kelly revealed on her Substack that it was back in 2019 that Rep Adam Schiff, then-chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and who was leading the first impeachment effort against Trump, paid a Chicago consulting firm headed by Loren Merchan $600,000 in January 2020 to spread the word that he planned to oust Trump.
Between January 1, 2019 and December 21, 2020, Authentic Campaigns was paid more than $3.7 million “for digital media acquisitions,” Kelly reported, with an additional $215,000 being paid for “digital consulting fees.”
“During the same time period that Merchan’s firm raked in nearly $4 million, Schiff turned Cohen, Trump’s lawyer who paid Daniels $130,000 allegedly to keep quiet before the 2016 election, against his former client,” Kelly wrote.
Loren Merchan’s work has earned her a “rising star” award from Campaign & Elections magazine in 2020, with editors of the magazine writing that Merchan “is setting new benchmarks” in the digital media space by “doing ground-breaking, historical work for clients like Jon Tester, Kamala Harris, Adam Schiff, and others.”
