JD Vance Responds To Booing At Trump Rally

Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) recently backed a crowd of Trump supporters who were booing the media at a rally in Minnesota a week as former President Donald Trump urged a similar crowd to stop jeering at them during an event in Michigan via Mediaite.

It has been noted that Trump’s running mate took to the stage for a rally in the city of St. Cloud Saturday night to warm up the crowd for the Republican nominee for president.

“Now I want to talk about what’s going on in this country. And of course, all of us learned the hard way over the last week and a half. If you didn’t already know it, that Joe Biden cannot do the job as president of the United States,” Vance stated in a reference to President Joe Biden dropping out of the race.

“In fact, exactly one month ago, President Trump wiped the floor with Joe Biden on the debate stage, exposing a massive cover-up of that president’s moral and mental incapacity,” Vance added.

“And he saved this country from four more years of one of the worst presidents in American history, so let’s thank President Trump for getting rid of Joe Biden once and for all.”

“Thank you,” he said.

“And during that same time, President Trump accepted our party’s nomination with overwhelming support. We held one of the most successful conventions in history. And he even took a bullet for the country that he loves and didn’t miss a single day of work. Just imagine what he’s going to do with four more years.”

Vance took a shot at the media for, as he categorized it and lied about Biden’s fitness for office and now for protecting Vice President Kamala Harris as she seeks her party’s nomination and to defeat Trump in November.

After he pointed to and addressed the presence of the media, Vance was interrupted as the crowd began to jeer the reporters in the room. The senator defended them.

“They deserve it,” he said. “After covering up Joe Biden’s mental incapacity and incompetence for three and a half years, now, the media is at it again. For three and a half years, my friends, they told us that Joe Biden was Abraham Lincoln and now the media tells us that Kamala Harris is Martin Luther King Jr.”

Vance’s comments were delivered exactly one week after Trump asked supporters in Michigan to stop booing the press at a rally in Grand Rapids.

“No, no. No, they covered it fairly,” Trump told a rowdy crowd, noting the Republican National Convention had been widely praised for its tone by many in the national media.

Looking at the reporters in the room Trump said, “You did cover it fairly.”
