Pro wrestling legend Jesse Ventura took to Twitter and wrote an emotional message after the passing of pro wrestling legend WWE Hall Of Famer ‘Superstar’ Billy Graham, who passed away yesterday.
There wouldn’t be a Jesse “The Body” Ventura without the in-ring success and trailblazing showmanship of Superstar Billy Graham. One of my proudest wrestling memories was having the honor of being inducted into the same WWE Hall of Fame class as Graham. Rest In Power Superstar.

Jesse Ventura, who previously served as the Governor of Minnesota from 1998 to 2002, announced his aspirations to run for the U.S. Presidential Elections in 2024. He made this announcement during an appearance on the Talk Is Jericho podcast. Ventura expressed his distrust for the Republicans and Democrats and stated that he would want to run for candidacy with a new party.
Ventura mentioned that he had previously considered the Green Party but found them to be split and dysfunctional. He revealed that he has been working closely with Andrew Yang, who is forming a new party called the Forward Party. The name “Forward Party” signifies a focus on the future rather than aligning with the Democrats or Republicans. They aim to obtain ballot access, field candidates, hold a convention, and have a presidential candidate by the 2024 election. Ventura cited the fact that 60% of the country does not want Joe Biden or Donald Trump as reasons for pursuing this new party.
“Now it’s more serious than ever. I mean, I dabbled with the Green Party two years ago ’til I found out they were split and were completely dysfunctional. But I’ve been communicating and working very close now with Andrew Yang, and Andrew Yang is the real deal and Andrew Yang is forming what’s going to be called the Forward Party.
“And we’re calling it that because we want to look forward into the future — we don’t want the past, we don’t want nothing to do with the [Democrats] and [Republicans]. They’re the past, this is going to be the Forward Party, and we’re hoping to get ballot access and candidates on the slate and have a presidential candidate and a convention by the 2024 election. And I’ll tell you why, Chris, right now, 60% of the country doesn’t want [Joe] Biden or [Donald] Trump.”
During the interview, Ventura also mentioned that he had been given full creative control by Russian President Vladimir Putin for his show on Russia Today (RT). However, it’s worth noting that RT has faced significant controversy and has been pulled from most major television providers following Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.
