Joe Biden Announces Next Week He Will…

President Joe Biden’s Covid symptoms have shown significant improvement, according to his doctor. Biden received his fourth dose of Paxlovid this morning, and his primary symptoms—a loose, non-productive cough and hoarseness—have notably improved from the previous day. His vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and temperature, remain normal, and his oxygen levels are excellent. His lungs are reported to be clear.

In a statement, Biden expressed his eagerness to return to the campaign trail next week, where he plans to continue discussing the dangers he attributes to Donald Trump’s “Project 2025” while advocating for his own achievements and vision for America, emphasizing democracy, rights, freedoms, and opportunity.

Despite Biden’s improving health, some House Democrats, including Jared Huffman, Marc Veasey, Chuy Garcia, and Mark Pocan, have called for him to withdraw from the race. Campaign Chair Jen O’Malley Dillon reaffirmed Biden’s commitment to the campaign, acknowledging the need to address concerns and prove his leadership to the American people.

Previously, Dr. Kevin C. O’Connor had noted that Biden, who had isolated at his Rehoboth Beach home following his Covid diagnosis, was experiencing mild upper respiratory symptoms but remained otherwise stable. Biden had to cancel a planned speech in Las Vegas due to his diagnosis.
