Jon Moxley’s current stint in New Japan Pro-wrestling has received rave reviews from everyone so far. The former WWE Champion made history by defeating Juice Robinson and capturing the IWGP US Championship at the Best of the Super Juniors event.
Moxley then went on to announce that he’d be entering this year’s G1 Tournament and soon it was revealed that he’d compete in the “B” block. However, Moxley wasn’t booked for the company’s G1 show in Dallas and that got people speculating.
Dave Meltzer reported on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that the reason why Moxley isn’t booked for the event is that he isn’t allowed to by AEW. Meltzer said that Moxley is free to perform for the company in Japan but when in the US, the scenario is very different.
Either way, Moxley will work all G1 dates in Japan and will look to make it all the way to the finals and even win the tournament.
