Kanye West may be facing legal trouble following an incident that took place on Tuesday night, April 16, in which he was named as a suspect in a physical battery case.
According to reports, West allegedly punched a man who “assaulted” his wife, Bianca Censori. Law enforcement sources indicated that West was named a suspect in the case, while his representative provided a different account of the situation, emphasizing that Censori’s alleged “assailant” did more than just bump into her.
West’s spokesperson claimed the man put his hands under Censori’s dress, grabbed her waist, spun her around, and then blew her kisses. The spokesperson asserted that Censori was battered and sexually assaulted, and described the incident as a serious physical assault.
Despite West’s involvement in defending his wife, the rapper was named as the suspect in a battery report filed after the Tuesday night altercation. The incident took place at the Chateau Marmont Hotel on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. However, the man allegedly punched by West did not require medical treatment.
