According to TMZ, Keanu Reeves’ residence has become the target of burglars once again, as law enforcement sources report that individuals wearing ski masks broke into his Los Angeles home. The incident occurred on a Wednesday evening, prompting LAPD to respond to an anonymous call about a potential trespasser at Reeves’ property around 7 PM. Upon their initial search, officers found no one on the premises.
However, law enforcement returned to the scene at approximately 1 AM after an alarm sounded on the property. Security cameras reportedly captured multiple men in ski masks smashing a window and entering the house. The burglars were observed taking a firearm from the home before fleeing. At the time of the incident, Keanu Reeves was not present.
Detectives are actively reviewing video footage from the property and the surrounding neighborhood to gather more information. One aspect under investigation is whether the initial call to the police was made by an individual scouting the house.
This unfortunate event is not the first security issue involving Keanu Reeves’ home. In 2014, two consecutive intruders attempted unauthorized entry, and earlier in the year, the actor obtained a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker who had reportedly appeared at his residence. The recent burglary adds to a series of security concerns surrounding the ‘John Wick’ star’s property.
