Kellyanne Conway Brutally Attacks Husband For Trump

Kellyanne Conway, the former campaign manager for Donald Trump and White House advisor, found herself embroiled in a highly unconventional situation as she defended her estranged husband, George Conway, on Twitter over the weekend. The sequence of events unfolded when George, a former Republican operative turned anti-Trump activist, expressed support for the Supreme Court’s ruling on the affirmative action case, Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard. He stated that race should not be the determinative factor in college admissions decisions, which sparked backlash from some progressives who had previously admired him.

In response to the criticism George faced, Kellyanne stepped in to defend him while also offering a slight admonishment. She pointed out that attacking him for agreeing with the Supreme Court’s decision was ironic, given that he himself is of Asian descent, attended public schools, was accepted into Harvard at the age of 16, pursued his law degree at Yale, became a partner at a top law firm, and paid off his student loans without any special preferences or nepotism. Kellyanne emphasized that George’s achievements were a result of his own hard work and merit.

As George responded to his critics by expressing love for everyone except Trump, whom he mentioned he would be willing to visit in prison, Kellyanne offered him some advice. She urged him not to grovel to the bullies, including his colleagues at MSNBC and his Twitter “friends,” whom she referred to as an oxymoron. Kellyanne suggested that they had invited him into the Trump Derangement Syndrome Cult and wanted him for their own purposes, rather than genuinely valuing his opinions. She encouraged George not to shy away from expressing his expertise and making people think about constitutional matters beyond personal politics and pettiness, despite the backlash he may face.

Although George Conway initially supported Trump and celebrated his victory, his stance changed over time, leading him to become a vocal critic of the former president. He even played a role in founding the Lincoln Project, a controversial Super PAC aimed at defeating Trump during the 2020 election.

“I despise squeezing human beings into checkboxes. You should too,” tweeted Conway last Thursday, observing that “There are days when progressive apocalypticism approaches the level of Trumpist apocalypticism, and this day is one of them.

Happy ‘George Conway is not your friend’ Day for all who observe. It happens right around this time in June every goddamn year.”
