Fox News contributor Kellyanne Conway took aim at Nikki Haley, criticizing her for not conceding to Donald Trump after his victory in the New Hampshire 2024 primary. Despite Haley congratulating Trump on his win, she expressed her commitment to continuing her campaign and maintaining her criticisms of him.
During a segment with Sean Hannity, Conway chastised Haley, stating, “I don’t really care for that. For [Trump] to sweep those first three states, it’s pretty decisive. This is a democracy, a constitutional republic. We must respect the will of the people, and Nikki Haley can’t become an election denier. She’s been rejected. She can say tonight she came in second, or you can say she came in last.”
It is noteworthy that Conway would criticize Haley for not accepting an election result, especially considering that Trump, just the previous night, reiterated his false claim of winning the 2020 election. Conway, who worked for Trump until 2020, has acknowledged his defeat in the past, leading to displeasure from her former boss.
The criticism directed at Haley for being an “election denier” comes amidst a complex political landscape, where Trump’s influence within the Republican Party remains significant, and potential contenders like Haley navigate their relationships with the former president.

We must respect the will of the people, and Nikki Haley can’t become an election denier. She’s been rejected. She can say tonight she came in second, or you can say she came in last.”
