Matthew Perry’s death has left a void in many lives. He left the world too soon, and people are still trying to come to terms with this situation. The Friends actor was found dead in his jacuzzi on Saturday and there are people who are unable to believe that this happened. While some are waiting for the official word on the reason behind the death, some others have penned down their thoughts about the departed soul.
One such person is Rumer Willis, daughter of the legendary actor Bruce Willis. Bruce worked with Matthew in the 2000 crime comedy The Whole Nine Yards and its 2004 sequel The Whole Ten Yards. Rumer remembered her time with the late actor and shared some thoughts in her Instagram story.
I’m so sad to hear about Matthew Perry passing. When I was a kid and I was on Set while he and my dad were doing whole nine and whole 10 yards he was so kind and funny and sweet with my sisters and me and I think his physical Comedy and that movie still makes me laugh so much. I know he had many challenges in his life and brought a lot of joy to people with his comedy. I hope he can rest peacefully.

Rumer Willis isn’t the only one remembering Matthew Perry
Rumer Willis is joined by many others who are trying to put their thoughts about Perry’s sudden death. Bruce’s wife Emma Heming Willis, just like her daughter, took to Instagram stories and posted an interview of Bruce and Perry while promoting The Whole Ten Yards. She captioned it “Matthew” with two heart emojis.
According to People, Perry had shared a heartfelt note on Social Media when he found out about Bruce Willis’ aphasia diagnosis.
Dear Bruce Willis, I’m so sorry to hear what you are going through, but you’re still the coolest man I’ve met in my entire life. You will remain in my prayers for a long long time.
Maybe we should get together and watch the whole 10 yards and get a couple of hours of sleep.
PEOPLE had received word from the Los Angeles Police Department that 911 was called for a man in his 50’s, but the cause of the call was cardiac arrest. TMZ also told that they were informed of no foul play in the death of Matthew Perry.
