Melania Trump Gets $1.4 Million Payment From…

On July 8, Melania Trump hosted a GOP fundraiser at her Trump Tower penthouse in New York City, raising $1.4 million for the Log Cabin Republicans, a group affiliated with the Republican Party that advocates for LGBTQ+ rights.

For the glamorous event, Melania donned a $4,000 red Valentino dress and white floral heels by Christian Louboutin, as reported by Hello. Despite largely distancing herself from her husband Donald Trump’s current campaign for a second term, she made a rare public appearance for this occasion. Notable attendees included former Trump White House official Kellyanne Conway, former Senator Kelly Loeffler, and former acting director of U.S. National Intelligence Richard Grenell.

Grenell, a gay Republican who served in the Trump administration, expressed his appreciation for Melania’s efforts on social media. He tweeted, “@MELANIATRUMP opened her NYC Penthouse tonight to raise money for @LogCabinGOP. It’s the first campaign event ever held at the Trump residence. And we raised $1.4 million in one night. Our goal is to get 50% of the gay vote for Donald Trump.”

Following the successful fundraiser, the Log Cabin Republicans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their gratitude: “This was an amazingly spectacular event for Log Cabin Republicans and the future of the Republican Party. We cannot be thankful enough to @MelaniaTrump for her leadership and support of equality for all. This Republican Party is one for ALL Americans.”

This was the second time Melania hosted a fundraiser for the Log Cabin Republicans. The first event took place in April at the Trumps’ Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, where over $1 million was raised. Ahead of that event, Melania posted on social media, “As we look toward the future and the challenges that lie ahead, we must come together around the principles of liberty, justice, and patriotism.”
