Eric Trump confirmed that both Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump will be attending the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. Speaking to Tony Dokoupil on “CBS Mornings,” he emphasized their strong support for his father, former President Trump.
Despite neither Ivanka nor Melania being present at the convention since it began on Monday, Eric assured that they would be there in full force. He highlighted Ivanka’s significant role as a White House senior adviser and her unwavering support for Trump, even though she had previously stated in 2022 that she would not be involved in politics, focusing instead on her family.
Melania Trump, who has remained largely out of the public eye since leaving the White House, also commented on social media following the recent assassination attempt against Trump, expressing the profound impact the incident had on her and their son Barron’s lives.
Eric Trump defended his family’s unity, stating that no other family in political history has remained as close despite relentless attacks aimed at dividing them. He expressed pride in their strong bond and continued support for Trump. Neither Ivanka nor Melania is listed among the scheduled speakers at the convention.
