OJ Simpson Credit Card Bombshell Revealed

O.J. Simpson’s Bank of America credit card has made its way to the auction block, with expectations of fetching a significant sum. The card, a business account card with an expiration date of 2023, has been put up for auction by Jonathan Lepore, who bought it on eBay last summer for $70.

Lepore, a sports memorabilia collector, originally planned to gift the card to a friend’s father, who had socialized with O.J. and Nicole Brown Simpson in the Hamptons during the 1980s and early 1990s, but forgot about it until recent news of O.J.’s passing prompted him to rediscover it.

The card shows some mild peripheral wear and light discoloration, but has not been signed on the reverse side. The Goldin Auctions founder & CEO, Ken Goldin, noted that O.J. Simpson is known for some of the most notable and tragic events in modern history, suggesting that this item could attract substantial interest at auction. Given Simpson’s notoriety, there could be significant demand for this unusual piece of memorabilia.

Interestingly, Lepore intends to donate 10% of the final sale proceeds to the National Network to End Domestic Violence, making this auction not only a unique opportunity for collectors but also a way to contribute to a meaningful cause.
