A heckler trolled former Vice President Mike Pence as he spoke to reporters in New Hampshire, yelling “You promised today was our Coming Out Day!” and “Mike Pence and I are gay!” via Media Ite.
It was on Friday that more than one camera followed Pence as he officially filed to participate in the 2024 New Hampshire Republican presidential primary, and addressed voters and reporters as he did so.
It has been noted that even though National Coming Out Day was two days earlier on Wednesday — a heckler decided to use the holiday as a peg for trolling the former VP, who is known for his conservative cultural views:
“MIKE PENCE: Very humbling day for me and my wife, Karen, to be standing here. First in the nation primary state, to be able to put our name on the ballot for the highest office in the land. And I want to thank you for the warm welcome. I want to. We want to thank the people of New Hampshire for the way they’ve opened their hearts and their homes to our family. We look forward in the days ahead, continuing to carry a messages. It’s a very serious time in the life of our nation, a very serious time in the life of our world. And we’re running because we simply believe, with all humility, that I’m the most qualified, most experienced, the most tested conservative seeking the Republican nomination.
HECKLER: Mike Pence are you going to tell about us?
MIKE PENCE: You’re going to meet our campaign challenge in our campaign to the American people–.
HECKLER: You promised today was our Coming Out Day! Mike Pence and I are gay! We’re gay!
