Austin Theory was present in the crowd at NXT TakeOver: Toronto, but that does not mean he has signed with NXT.
According to a report by Brad Shepard, he was told by a source in WWE even though Theory has not signed a contract with NXT, it will certainly happen. This has been the case ever since he made a name for himself in Evolve.
According to a source in #WWE, Austin Theory hasn’t signed with the company yet but that is “very imminent.”
WWE wants Evolve to get more attention as it will be on the WWE Network soon enough. So WWE having Austin Theory making an appearance at NXT TakeOver: Toronto is plausible.
