As seen on this week’s RAW Reunion edition of Monday Night RAW, Rob Van Dam made a surprise return to the WWE. Van Dam, along with Kurt Angle, Sgt. Slaughter and the Hurricane distracted Sami Zayn in his match against Rey Mysterio and helped the latter to get the victory.

Van Dam’s return to the company is especially surprising as he is currently signed to Impact Wrestling. However, it seems like WWE might have been able to crack a deal with Impact to let RVD show up on this very special RAW episode for a cameo.
Either way, the fans were delighted to see the former WWE Champion back on WWE TV, even if he didn’t compete in a match.
