WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is not having a great time healthwise. Roman Reigns tested positive for the virus. Due to this, he was pulled from his WWE Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar. ‘The Beast Incarnate’ would go on to take part in the WWE Championship match and ended up winning to become the new champion.
The Head of the Table has certainly been very dominant as the WWE Universal Champion as he has remained the champion for well over a year now. It is unlikely he will be losing the title anytime soon from the looks of it. He has competed against several top WWE stars throughout that time and has successfully defended his title.
Jey Uso provides an update on Roman Reigns’ health
While speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Jey Uso talked about Roman Reigns’ status after testing postive for the virus. Uso said that fans will see Roman Reigns back and currently he is getting rest at home.
“It felt off not having the Tribal Chief. This match was for him. We represented, and he’s going to be OK. He’s home resting, and maybe playing some Call of Duty. We’re going to see him back soon. We opened the show, and we’re so used to seeing The Big Uce close the show. This pandemic is crazy, and all we want is for him to be safe and take care of himself.”
We are hopeful that ‘The Tribal Chief’ would have a speedy recovery. We will now have to wait and see when Reigns will be making his return to WWE television. It will be interesting to see what is next for Reigns upon his return. Reigns is rumored to main event WrestleMania 38 in a rematch against Brock Lesnar, though it’s unclear if recent events could change plans.
