The MMA community has been abuzz with speculation surrounding the potential return of former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey. As her tenure with WWE approaches its end, rumors have been swirling that Rousey may make a comeback to the octagon.

Rousey’s departure from the fight game came after suffering two consecutive losses. Her first defeat came at the hands (or rather, foot) of Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November 2015, when she was knocked out by a devastating head kick. Rousey’s next and final bout in the UFC was against Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December 2016, which ended in a swift 48-second TKO.

It has been widely reported that Rousey has a predetermined end to her contract with WWE and is expected to wrap up her time with the company following her ongoing feud with Shayna Baszler. This has fueled speculation that she may be contemplating a return to her MMA roots.

Recently, UFC fighter Chelsea Chandler discussed the rumors surrounding Rousey’s potential return in an interview with MMA Junkie. Chandler claimed to have heard whispers that Rousey might be planning a comeback as a featherweight fighter in the UFC. Chandler expressed her enthusiasm for the potential matchup, acknowledging that Rousey’s absence from the sport has allowed fighters to adapt to her signature armbar technique. Nevertheless, Chandler believes that Rousey’s star power and past accomplishments could still draw significant attention to the sport.

“I’ve been hearing Ronda is coming back. I’ve heard she’s coming back at 145. You never know… If I go out there and put on the performance I plan on putting (on), I’ll welcome her to 145. I think it would be a great fight. It has been a long time for her, and things change, people get better, and I think people are on to her one-trick-pony armbar. Money talks, and she would bring eyes to the sport again. I feel like her time in WWE is starting to go down, so I’d like to see it.”

Ariel Helwani reported today via MMA Fighting that Rousey isn’t returning to the UFC after all, despite speculation going around online.

“Ronda Rousey is not considering a UFC comeback, I’m told. No truth to the rumors started yesterday.”

Bray Wyatt’s journey in WWE has been filled with twists and turns. Initially debuting as Husky Harris, his first gimmick failed to make a significant impact on the main roster. However, Wyatt was determined to prove himself and promised Vince McMahon that he would return. After honing his skills in NXT, he reemerged with a captivating new character known as Bray Wyatt.

As the leader of the Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt and his faction dominated WWE programming for a considerable period. However, like all good things, their reign eventually came to an end. After some time, Wyatt was unexpectedly released from his WWE contract. But to the surprise of fans, he made a comeback after a prolonged absence from the wrestling ring.

Ringside News reached out to WWE to inquire about Bray Wyatt’s potential return at SummerSlam. The response they received was disheartening for fans. According to their communication with a trusted source in the WWE creative team, there are currently no creative plans for Wyatt during the summer’s biggest event.

Furthermore, it has been revealed that Bray Wyatt is not listed on the company’s internal roster. This lack of presence suggests that discussions surrounding his return are not taking place. The main reason for this absence of planning is reportedly due to Wyatt not yet being medically cleared to compete.
