Rudy Giuliani has sent out an urgent fundraising message to his supporters, warning them that President Biden is determined to send him to prison. The appeal, sent via the Rudy Giuliani Freedom Fund, highlighted Giuliani’s legal battles, particularly in Fulton County, Georgia, where he faces charges related to his attempts to overturn the state’s 2020 presidential election results.
The message emphasized Giuliani’s defiance in the face of adversity, referencing his resolve despite being raided and wrongfully arrested. Accompanied by Giuliani’s own mugshot from Fulton County, the appeal portrayed him as a target of the “Deep State” for his support of President Trump and his efforts to challenge alleged corruption.
“Friend, There’s no other way to say this… You may truly be my only hope. The Biden Regime is sending a top ally of President Trump to PRISON!” reads the appeal. “The Deep State is hellbent on indicting, arresting, bankrupting, and imprisoning President Trump and his top allies for daring to challenge the corrupt forces that have hijacked our once Free Republic. And as the lawyer who successfully defended President Trump from impeachment, I am at the top of their list.”
Giuliani’s legal troubles stem from his association with Trump, for whom he served as a personal attorney. Both Giuliani and Trump were indicted for election fraud in Georgia, under racketeering laws that Giuliani once used to combat organized crime in New York City. Despite their pleas of not guilty, the legal proceedings have garnered significant attention and support from their political allies.
However, the case in Georgia faced a setback when it was revealed that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis had an affair with Nathan Wade, a special prosecutor assigned to the case. This revelation led to complications, including Wade’s departure from the case and a judge’s ruling to dismiss six of the most serious charges against Trump due to lack of specificity.
“I didn’t give up when my home was raided or when I was wrongfully arrested and had my MUGSHOT taken in Fulton County – and there’s no way I’m backing down now,” the email continued.
