Sasha Banks Leaving Smackdown For Big Name?

The one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag-Team Champions Sasha Banks is one of the top stars of the company. She has also gained some popularity with her acting. ‘The Boss’ had bagged the role of Koska Reeves in Mandalorian. She recently sat down with Steve Fall of NBC Sports Boston to discuss a wide variety of subjects.

Sasha Banks drops hints about her return to the series

She was asked about the possibility of a Koska Reeves Star Wars project on Disney+, Banks didn’t rule it out, calling it a dream come true that she wants to continue to manifest.

“That would be such a dream come true,” Sasha Banks said. “I think we have to keep on tweeting Disney and Vince McMahon so I can have time off so I can film that show. So that is something that I’m definitely manifesting one day. I mean, with Disney+ with the Mandalorian, the dreams are endless.”

She was suggested that the spinoff could somehow involve Baby Yoda (Grogu) and Banks said that would be really cool, and that would be something that she’d love to do. ‘The Boss’ had been away from WWE las year and there is huge possibility that she has already filmed something for a future Star Wars/Mandalorian project. However, Disney is so secretive when it comes to things like this we probably won’t find out if she did until they’re ready to announce it.

Sasha and Naomi are set to defend their newly-won tag titles against Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley next week on RAW. The title match was originally set to take place last night on RAW, but WWE nixed the match due to COVID-19 protocols. Rhea Ripley was announced to team up with Liv Morgan and challenge the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions during this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. However, it was Liv Morgan who ended up facing Naomi in a losing effort.

It was noted on commentary that Ripley was off RAW due to being “in protocol”. WWE then announced the title match for next week’s RAW. ‘The Nightmare’ was also not on last Friday’s SmackDown as Morgan defeated Banks in singles action. Ripley did wrestle last Monday on the post-WrestleMania 38 RAW as she and Liv took a loss to Banks and Naomi in a non-title Championship Contender’s match.
