Sasha Banks To ‘Lose’ Huge Match Before WrestleMania

During a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted by Dave Meltzer that it is very unlikely that current WWE Women’s tag team champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair with the explanation that WWE is going to use this loss to catapult an angle between the two into a championship match between Belair and Banks. Sasha Banks’ rumored WWE WrestleMania opponent was recently revealed.

Meltzer stated the following: “The classic booking would be that Sasha and Bianca have a falling out and then it turns into a bit more heated than ‘oh we’re buddies and we’re gonna do a championship match because we’re friends.’”

WWE Elimination Chamber takes place on February 21, 2021, and will broadcast from the WWE ThunderDome, hosted at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. In addition to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, the event will host two elimination chamber matches – for the WWE Championship and a number one contendership match for the WWE Universal championship respectively. Banks also stated she ‘misses’ this AEW star not too long ago.

In other news regarding ‘The Boss’ Sasha Banks, WWE Hall of Famer and sixteen time world champion Ric Flair ushered in some serious praise for the WWE Smackdown Women’s champion during a recent interview with FOX Sports – telling the outlet: “I give Sasha Banks all the credit in the world,” Flair said, explaining why he considers the SmackDown Women’s Champion to be among the all-time greats. “She’s a working fool. I mean, she is. She is that good.”
