According to Daily Mail, Arnold Schwarzenegger shared a playful Instagram video in which he appeared to be punched in the face multiple times by Peter Dinklage’s stunt double, Douglas Farrell. The video was posted on Thursday and showcased Schwarzenegger sitting on exercise equipment at Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach.
As Schwarzenegger worked on his upper arm muscles, Farrell, who served as Dinklage’s stunt double on “Game of Thrones,” stood in front of him and mimicked throwing fake punches toward his face. Schwarzenegger playfully turned his head to make the punches look real, while fake punch sounds were added in the background. Farrell counted each punch as Schwarzenegger continued his workout.
Schwarzenegger, known for his roles in films like “The Terminator” and “True Lies,” wore a dark blue T-shirt and black gym shorts for his training session, along with reflective shades for eye protection while outdoors. Farrell sported a printed yellow T-shirt and vibrant blue shorts.
In the Instagram caption, Schwarzenegger wrote, “We take our training seriously, but we also believe in laughing and having a good time.”
The two have been training partners for years, and Schwarzenegger described Farrell as a “powerhouse” who reminds him of his late friend and training partner, Franco Columbu. Schwarzenegger also praised Farrell as a great stuntman, swordsman, and a great friend.
