Seth Rollins & Ronda Rousey Sad Rumors Leak

Seth Rollins and Ronda Rousey are likely to take some time away from WWE.

Rollins recently joined Captain America: New World Order and he will likely have to miss some work. Seth Rollins and AJ Styles will lock horns for the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions. Rollins will have to miss some more television before that big Saudi Arabian show comes around.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Seth Rollins will have to miss next week’s RAW as well. He wasn’t on the show this week, and they aired a pretaped interview segment. They are currently filming the movie in Atlanta, so he won’t have to make too long of a flight.

“Rollins was off Raw this week and next week, so they did a pretape segment, because he was filming the movie “Captain America: New World Order.” The movie is currently filming in Atlanta for a release next May”

WWE will likely air another pretaped segment with Seth Rollins to hype Night of Champions.

Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey apparently wants a break. Rousey was injured on the road to WrestleMania, and a planned WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match was changed around. Becky Lynch even admitted that winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with Lita was not the original plan at all.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles are seemingly “cursed.” That being said, they wanted to get Ronda Rousey her run with those titles, because she planned on taking a break from the company.

“The women’s tag title obviously depends upon the severity of Morgan’s injury. The women’s tag titles have been cursed since Rousey & Baszler were supposed to win them at Mania and the titles were only step one in a longer-term Rousey storyline.

The timing of this is an issue because Rousey is planning on taking time off at a certain time frame which was prior to WrestleMania, and the story was to end well before that. They would have to speed up the storyline if Rousey doesn’t extend her stay because the original plan was to establish the team as champions for a while and then do the actual storyline that this was to build to.”
