WWE legend Road Dogg recently revealed that Shane McMahon wanted to have a legitimate fight with Brock Lesnar.
Shane seemingly did not back off from a fight against ‘The Beast Incarnate.’ The New Age Outlaws member revealed that Shane McMahon was genuinely furious with Lesnar’s actions when he threw the WWE Universal title at Vince McMahon following his match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34.
Shane McMahon was ready to fight Brock Lesnar
During his Oh You Didn’t Know podcast, Dogg revealed that he once had to convince Shane McMahon not to fight Brock Lesnar. Shane was allegedly very serious about fighting the former WWE Champion.
He said:
“I remember Shane being in gorilla and being hot and trying to go after Brock. I said, ‘Let it go.’ You know what I mean? Let’s just stay right here, and all keep our teeth.”
Lesnar recently defeated Omos at WrestleMania 39.
Meanwhile, Shane McMahon returned at this year’s ‘Show of Shows and was involved in an impromptu match against The Miz. Shane suffered a knee injury while doing a leapfrog and the match was concluded by rap legend Snoop Dogg who punched The Miz twice before hitting the People’s Elbow for three counts.
PWInsider has reported that Shane was flown to Birmingham, Alabama after the event, and has undergone surgery at the Andrew Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center.
