Billi Bhatti reported on the Babyfaces podcast that Steve Austin wanted to wrestle Seth Rollins at WrestleMania, but Triple H wanted Logan Paul vs. Rollins, and offered Austin three opponents: Karrion Kross, The Miz, and Baron Corbin. Austin shot down all three, but a deal appeared close for a match with Pat McAfee, but McAfee backed out.
Road Dogg spoke highly of Becky Lynch on the “Oh…You Didn’t Know” podcast. He mentioned that he always liked her and thought she had the potential to be a superstar. He also praised her beauty, accent, and in-ring abilities. Road Dogg shared that when he got released, Becky was one of the few people from the talent roster who called him to ask what happened, which blew his mind. He appreciated that she cared enough to reach out to him. Road Dogg said that he saw something special in Becky since day one.
“I always really liked Becky Lynch. I always really thought that her being, was cool. She was beautiful. That accent. She can work. She carried herself cool. There was just something about Becky that said Superstar to me early on and so I utilized her in that way. When I got released, she was one of the only people, and of course, I got a lot of calls, but she was one of the only talent-wise that called me and said, ‘What happened?’ It blew my mind that she gave a crap enough about me to call and say, ‘Hey, I’m sorry.’ You go and the machine moves forward, and some people get left behind, and on that day, it was me. But yeah, I’ve seen something special in her since day one.”
