Kurt Angle mentioned during an appearance on Mark Madden’s radio show in Pittsburgh that he would not be re-signing with TNA once his deal expires nor will he try to get signed by WWE next year.
Instead, he will be taking 2016 off from wrestling. WWE is said to be hesitant on signing Angle because WWE doesn’t want an Olympic gold medalist dying while under contract to them.
Needless to say, that would bring a tremendous amount of negative press for them. Angle has stated in the past that he has had issues with pain killers and has had a long history of drinking problems.
However, it appears he has gotten help with those issues.
It should be noted that Angle is a spokesman for BarnDad Nutrition and he’s been trying his hand at acting.
