The Rock Announces XFL Player Died Suddenly

The Rock has announced that XFL player Chris Smith has died. He wrote, “I was so sorry to hear this news. Heartbroken for Chris’ family. Our entire XFL universe sends it love, light, strength & mana to the Smith family. Stay strong. We are here. dj.”

The Rock has had high praise for wrestlers in other organizations, including AEW and Impact Wrestling. Chuck Taylor, one-third of the popular wrestling group Best Friends, was noticeably absent from the March 15 episode of AEW Dynamite. Fans were left wondering why Taylor was not present during his usual pairing with Trent Beretta and Orange Cassidy. During Cassidy’s defense of the AEW International Championship against Jeff Jarrett, the odds seemed stacked against him as Jarrett had several supporters in Satnam Singh, Jay Lethal, and Sonjay Dutt at ringside. Beretta came to Cassidy’s aid, but Taylor was nowhere to be seen.

Later that night, Chuck Taylor took to social media to explain his absence to his fans. He revealed that he had to undergo emergency dental surgery and apologized for not being there to help his friend Cassidy. Taylor shared a gruesome X-ray of his mouth and a picture of his bloody smile, leaving no doubt that he had gone through a painful experience. Although he did not specify what type of surgery he had undergone, he made light of the situation by jokingly mentioning that he hopes he will get a ticket to the upcoming movie “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” which AEW had been promoting during Cassidy’s match.

Fans of Best Friends were quick to offer their well wishes and support for Taylor, hoping that he will have a speedy recovery and be back in the ring soon. Cassidy also showed his support for his friend, tweeting a message of love and encouragement. While it’s unclear when Taylor will be able to return to wrestling, his fans and fellow wrestlers will undoubtedly be rooting for him to make a full recovery.
