The Rock is one of the biggest names not only in WWE but also in Hollywood. He has come a long way since he started out as an actor. He has been featured in some popular movies over the years. During a recent interview on The Pivot Podcast, ‘The Great One’ was asked which star has inspired him since his debut.
The Rock picks Will Smith
Here is what he said [as transcribed by Wrestling-Edge]: “When I first started in the business, I always looked at Will Smith as that time was the early 2000s where he was the biggest star in the world. He was producing, he was singing, he was integrating his music into his movies. So I always looked at Will at that time. I was like Will at time was the biggest star in the world. Johnny Depp, George Clooney, guys like that and I remember thinking to myself ‘Wow I’d love to hae Will’s career.'”
Speaking on the same podcast, “The Brahma Bull” was asked to describe what he’s the best at.
“Horizontal hula,” The Rock said with a laugh.
The former WWE Champion was asked about his game plan, and the hosts compared it to a movie script.
“Yeah, you got a beginning and an end. If you’re good, you get two [climaxes],” he said while everyone laughed along.
When again asked what he’s the best at, The Rock playfully noted that, besides the horizontal hula, he excels with things he’s passionate about.
“I think I’m pretty good at a lot of things. In terms of being the best at something, besides, egotistically, horizontal hula, I’m pretty good at what I love to do, and things that I love to do, I’m passionate about.”
