Donald Trump went ahead and spoke his mind during the televised town hall in Des Moines, Iowa. The former president also stated that he has already finalized who would be his vice president for the general election campaign. Trump said that is if he wins the Republican nomination for President.

The owner of the Trump Organization didn’t reveal the name and refused to give any hint in this regard. He even talked about the fact that many people are calling him to work together during his second run. New York Post reports that Trump also took on Biden during the same town hall.

According to the News outlet, Trump told the Fox News hosts and event moderators Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum that he wouldn’t reveal the name as yet. He said, “Well, I can’t tell you that really. I mean, I know who it’s going to be.” While talking about the calls he has recieved about working together, Trump went on to say that even most important people in the military want to work with him.

He even called out the “stiffs” in his last tenure. Trump said, “I have a lot of people that want to work with me. I have people calling — just as I’m getting on the stage, I had a call from two of the very most important people in the military wanting to come work for me. Everybody wants to come to work for us. We’re gonna have no trouble. We had great people [in his first term], we had a couple that were not great, stiffs, as I would call them, but that’s true with anybody.”

Donald Trump never misses an opportunity to attack Biden. During the town hall he took a hit on the current President and said that his tenure has ensured that Iran gets no money. Trump talked about the country and said that he had convinced China and several other nations to stop purchasing Iranian oil during his time in office. He said, “Iran was broke. They had no money. There was no money for Hamas, for Hezbollah. There was no money for anybody.”

The former president is trying everything in his power to get the second term in office. His efforts have hurdles as he has various legal cases against him. It would be interesting to see if he is able to get through them and make his way to the Oval office.
