Trump Attacks Biden With Vulgar 4th of July Photo

For President Donald Trump’s celebration of Independence Day was marked by his characteristic controversial and divisive behavior. While fireworks are a traditional part of the festivities, Trump chose a different kind of explosive display by sharing a late-night meme on social media that read “F*ck Biden.”

Trump’s social media activity on Truth Social indicated that he was up late into the night before finally setting his phone aside. The meme he shared featured script lettering that stated, “81 million votes… and I’ve never seen a pro-Biden hat, shirt, or flag in my life.” Below the text, a flag was displayed with the explicit phrase “F*ck Biden,” highlighting the state of public political discourse fueled by Trump’s loyal base of supporters.

Although July 4th is not inherently a sacred holiday, it is a day when the nation celebrates its independence and embraces a spirit of patriotism through backyard barbecues, block parties, and fireworks displays. One would hope that such crass and offensive language would be set aside, especially by a former president towards the current sitting president, Joe Biden.

However, adhering to the standard decorum expected of former presidents is not a priority for Trump. He seems to prioritize “owning the libs” over maintaining respect and dignity. Trump has consistently disregarded established norms and conventions, earning him the moniker of “Decorum Flouter in Chief.” His entire persona revolves around provoking and infuriating the political establishment, effectively monetizing his significant but dwindling base of supporters through the sale of his tasteless merchandise. In many ways, this behavior epitomizes an expression of the American way, showcasing the complexities and contradictions of the nation’s political landscape.
