Republicans will be able to claim that President Joe Biden “is guilty of insurrection” — for reasons, according to Trump attorney Christina Bobb — if former President Donald Trump’s voting restriction remains in place.
Trump’s participation in the Republican presidential primary contests in Colorado and Maine has been prohibited due to his alleged violation of the 14th Amendment by participating in an insurrection on January 6.
During her appearance as a guest on Tuesday’s episode of Real America’s Voice’s America’s Voice Live with Steve Gruber, Bobb made a ton of statements that were unfounded.
They included the idea that the Supreme Court will strike down the decision near-unanimously and that Biden is vulnerable to claims of insurrectionism because of “his deals with China” — and Gruber had an interesting definition of insurrection too:
“STEVE GRUBER: Happy New Year. And as I said here at the top of the program, I do believe this is the most pivotal, consequential year in our lives in American history, potentially, because whatever happens here is what dictates where this country goes. And look, the Democrats are saying we must undermine democracy to save democracy. It is the most absurd approach, and yet people buy into it. We must prevent people from voting who they want so we can save democracy. It’s absurd. Is it going to the Supreme Court? I assume that it will. What are your thoughts on the legal process?
CHRISTINA BOBB: Yeah, well, it is absurd. Thankfully, their arguments have become so hypocritical and so blatantly un-American. Undemocratic and just weird, quite frankly, that I think a lot of Americans are starting to go, wait a second, something’s not right here. But yes, I do think that the Supreme Court has to take this up. I, I would be shocked if they did it. I fully expect them to take that take it up. And quite honestly, I don’t even think it’s going to be a close decision. I don’t think it’s going to be five-four. I don’t even think it’s going to be six-three. I would not be surprised if it was a unanimous decision, maybe 8-1, 7-2 in favor of President Trump being on the ballot, allowing anything else would send this election into anarchy. And you’d have Republicans saying, well, then Joe Biden is guilty of insurrection by his deals with China. And, you know, and then you’re going to it would be a free-for-all all. So the Supreme Court is going to take this up. I think it will be a strong decision in favor of Donald Trump.
STEVE GRUBER: I think it’s an easy argument to say that Joe Biden has violated his oath of the office of presidency by not defending the southern border. But I digress a wee bit.”
