Former President Donald Trump is seemingly continuing to rant against the judge, his gag orders and the attorney general in his New York civil fraud case as three of his children are gearing up to testify this week.
“We won against Engoron in the Appeals Court, knocking out a big part of the case, but he then refused to accept their decision. He just said ‘NO.’ He is often overturned, one of the most, and couldn’t care less. I don’t believe we even one a single motion during this entire excursion into the wilderness of CRAZY,” Trump in a Wednesday post on Truth Social referring to the pause on the previous cancellation of Trump’s business certificates.
New York Attorney General Letitia James agreed to the pause on Tuesday. Engoron originally ordered the cancellation in September when he found Trump guilty of fraud.
It has been noted that Trump also railed against what he called a “RIDICULOUS” gag order placed on him by Engoron that bars the former president from speaking publicly or posting about court clerks on social media.
He has already been fined multiple times for violations, including a $5,000 and $10,000 fine. Engoron has already threatened to jail Trump if he continues to violate the gag order.
“He then put a RIDICULOUS GAG ORDER ON ME, which we will appeal. He fines me at levels never seen before. The A.G.’s people are thrilled, but can’t believe it is happening. Engoron is crazy, totally unhinged, and dangerous – Our Judicial System has gone to HELL,” Trump’s Truth Social post continued.
The testimony from Trump’s children will begin with Donald Trump Jr. on Wednesday, followed by Eric Trump on Thursday, and Ivanka Trump on Friday. Trump himself will take the stand in New York on Monday, Nov. 6
